And when you’re not taking in all this wonderful heritage and culture you’ll be walking through stunning countryside, soaking in England at its “Chocolate Box” best.
We will meet you in Moreton in Marsh, a 1.5 hour train ride, direct (no changes) from London Paddington. We will fit you with your bikes, give you a full safety briefing and get you ready to cycle out into to magnificent Cotswolds. We ride out, visiting the beautiful Broadway Tower and Snowshill as well as stunning Cotswold villages including the Slaughters and Bourton on the Water. The day ends at the beautiful market town of Moreton in Marsh. The total mileage for the day is 33 miles although we can shorten the day should you want a more gentle start to you tour, making the mileage 22.
Mileage: 20 – 33 miles
This World Heritage Site is arguably England’s greatest Palace. The birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim has an illustrious history, stunning architecture and beautiful gardens, landscaped by Capability Brown. Our route travels through the stunning Cotswolds right into the Palace with routes from 20 miles through to 40. Our overnight stay is at the stunning Lamb in Burford.

Through the flatter part of the Cotswolds, via Bampton where all the outdoor shots of Downton Abbey are shot, we will arrive in Oxford for a full tour of the most famous university city in the World, including Harry Potter locations, the magnificent Christchurch College and great atmosphere and pubs! Oxford is the end of the tour, where we will advise you on your on-going travel or accommodation in Oxford.
Mileage: 16-32 miles
Guests stay in the best 4* hotels in the Cotswolds region, with unbeatable settings, wonderful accommodation and stunning food – just see Trip Advisor for The Hare and Hounds in Tetbury. Further options are available for those who want to stay in a country cottage location or in a selection of hand-picked bed and breakfasts or pubs.
Bike as much or as little as you like, a support vehicle is with the guided tours at all times and a daily “bailout” option on the self guide tours ensures guests only need to bike the miles that suit them.
Our guides and mechanics will fix all major equipment issues and get you back on the road as soon as possible.
Luggage will be transferred between hotels.
With a fleet of bikes from Giant and flat bar, drop bar, road, hybrid and e-bike options all bike types are catered for. Helmets as standard, just bring you shoes and pedals if you have them and away you go.
