Introducing... Rob
Mountaineering, caving, rock-climbing and fell-running became the main outlets that drove all of the long road-trips and fun experiences – so many climbs and so little time! My focus soon developed using these activities to support young people with multiple disadvantages through this time with the Drake Fellowship (later Princes Trust) and other charities. Working in education for 30 plus years, secondary, post-16 and latterly higher education for the Open University has ensured I have a wealth of experience with young people and adults alike.
Committed to outdoor learning and development, I have also continued to develop teams and leaders in the corporate world along with summer & winter seasons in the European Alps working as an International Mountain Leader. Whilst I still work for a range of providers guiding, instructing and leading in mountainous areas, I have come full circle to form a not-for-profit organisation, choosing to concentrate again on using my skills to help others benefit from the great outdoors.

I know the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales very well and the challenge now is to find those places that aren’t swamped with lots of people – there are still quiet ghylls, crags and upland areas that I look forward to taking you to!
