STRATFORD

Stratford-upon-Avon is, of course, most famous for being the birthplace of the playwright William Shakespeare. Today it’s a bustling market town steeped in culture. Of its many theatres, the most famous are The Royal Shakespeare and The Swan. Other sights of historical interest are Anne Hathaway’s cottage and Holy Trinity Church – where Shakespeare is buried.

BATH
