Weekly starting from Oxford or Moreton in Marsh
From our base in Oxford, will meet our team, pick up their route guide (and guide for the guided option) and be given full instructions for the day’s walk, which can be both guided or unguided. The route will take guests out into the stunning Cotswolds, via Port Meadow (given to the people of Oxford in 1086), Wolvercote with the wonderfully located Trout Pub and then back through the stunning winding lanes and street of Summertown, North Oxford (try punting from the idyllic, Cherwell Boathouse) before winding back into Oxford in the late afternoon. The route is approximately 8 miles and is pan flat, making for an enjoyable and relaxing day.
From our hub at Moreton in Marsh (1.5 hours from London Paddington or 40 minutes from Oxford on a direct train) guests will meet our team and be given a full briefing before heading out into the Countryside on the guided or unguided walk. The route will take guests out into the stunning Cotswolds, to the beautiful village of Evenlode then onto Broadwell for lunch before returning to Moreton in Marsh in the late afternoon. The route is 8 miles over gently rolling terrain (with no large hills!) although this can be extended on request.
