Walk right up to the front steps of World Heritage Sites from the Royal Windsor Castle, Churchill’s family home at Blenheim Palace, and to the historic Roman Baths. Explore some of our nations greatest gardens, take a tour of Oxford, the city of dreaming spires; and visit the Neolithic wonder that is Stonehenge.
This tour combines the best of the Cotswolds. Walk during the days on our carefully chosen routes and relax in the evenings with our handpicked hotels and our local cuisine.
The tour starts at London Paddington railway station where we pick-up all guests from the clock on Platform 1. We then jump on the bus and travel the one hour to Windsor where we step inside the world of King and Queens and take in everything Windsor has to offer. Packed with regal history at every turn; home to the Queen, the site of Henry VIII’s grave and monarchs since 1066, Windsor is a “must see”. We walk through Windsor Great Park, down the Long Walk and right up to the front steps of Windsor Castle to take a look around.

A day dedicated to the Cotswolds. In the morning we walk from Chipping Campden through the fields to the stunning gardens at Hidcote, renowned for its series of ‘outdoor rooms’. We visit Broadway Tower overlooking the northernmost extreme of the Cotswolds, before walking into Broadway town itself, one of the prettiest villages the Cotswolds has to offer.

Blenheim Palace, the World heritage site, is arguably England’s greatest Palace. Blenheim has an illustrious history, including as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, its stunning architecture and Capability Brown landscaped estate. We walk through the back gate right into the parkland and loop around towards the Palace. In the afternoon guests have ample time to explore the palace and gardens before journeying down the road for a walk through Oxford and dinner in this city of dreaming spires! We stay in the pretty market town of Burford, Gateway to the Cotswolds.

We head out from Burford towards White Horse Hill, with its incredible chalk carving sat atop this Neolithic Ridgeway, an Iron Age Fort and Wayland Smithy, a neolithic burial mound. From White Horse Hill we journey by support vehicle on to Stonehenge to complete our Neolithic day! There is the option to finish the day at lunchtime and travel straight to the city of Bath and our accommodation for the evening

We walk along the canals and aqueducts surrounding this beautiful spa town. In the afternoon we visit the Roman Baths, with the option to explore the Georgian architecture including The Royal Crescent, the city’s connection with Jane Austen and of course to shop! We finish the day at our hotel in the centre of Bath.

Our Cotswolds walking tour finishes after breakfast as our guides help you with all of your ongoing travel arrangements! Many choose to spend an extra day or two in Bath, and Bath’s train station is just a short walk from our hotel.
