Cycle from the Cotswold’s tallest tower at Broadway, over rolling hills in into golden stoned villages. Ride the quietest country lanes to visit palaces and World Heritage Sites from the Royal Windsor Castle, Churchill’s family home at Blenheim Palace to the historic Roman Baths. Alongside canals and through the fields, explore some of our nations greatest gardens, take a tour of Oxford, the city of dreaming spires; and visit the Neolithic wonder that is Stonehenge.
This tour combines the best of the Cotswolds. Cycle during the days on our carefully chosen routes and relax in the evenings with our handpicked hotels and our local cuisine.
The tour starts at London Paddington railway station where we pick-up all guests from the clock on Platform 1. We then jump on the bus and travel the one hour to Windsor where we step inside the world of King and Queens and take in everything Windsor has to offer. Packed with regal history at every turn; home to the Queen, the site of Henry VIII’s grave and monarchs since 1066, Windsor is a “must see”. We will also bike around Windsor Great Park for 10 miles to soak up the atmosphere and get you used to biking in England.

A day dedicated to the Cotswolds. In the morning we bike to the stunning Broadway Tower overlooking the northernmost extreme of the Cotswold hills, cycling onwards to the famous golden stoned Chipping Campden and up towards the beautiful gardens at Hidcote. Following lunch we ride over rolling hills to visit the Slaughters and Bourton on the Water, some of the best known and quaint towns the Cotswolds has to offer. The full loop returns us to our hotels in Moreton in Marsh.

Blenheim Palace, the World heritage site, is arguably England’s greatest Palace. Blenheim has an illustrious history, including as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, its stunning architecture and Capability Brown landscaped estate. The morning takes a stunning Cotswolds 20 mile bike ride right into the Palace itself. In the afternoon guests have ample time to explore the palace and gardens before journeying down the road into Oxford for a walk through and dinner in this city of dreaming spires! We stay in the pretty market town of Burford, Gateway to the Cotswolds.

We ride out from Burford towards White Horse Hill, with its incredible chalk carving sat atop this Neolithic Ridgeway. From White Horse Hill we journey by support vehicle on towards Avebury (Stonehenge but bigger!) and Stonehenge itself to complete our Neolithic day! There is the option to finish the day at lunchtime and travel straight to the city of Bath and our accommodation for the evening

We cycle along the canals and aqueducts surrounding this beautiful spa town. In the afternoon we visit the Roman Baths, with the option to explore the Georgian architecture including The Royal Crescent, the cities connection with Jane Austen and of course to shop! We finish the day at our hotel in the centre of Bath.

Our Cotswolds cycle tour finishes after breakfast as our guides help you with all of your ongoing travel arrangements! Many choose to spend an extra day or two in Bath, and Bath’s train station is just a short walk from our hotel.

Bike as much or as little as you like, a support vehicle is with the guided Cotswolds cycle tours at all times. Our guides and mechanics will fix all major equipment issues and get you back on the road as soon as possible. With a fleet of bikes from Giant all bike types, preferences and sizes are catered for. Helmets as standard, just bring you shoes and pedals if you have them and away you go.
