What to Expect from our Iconic Cotswolds Walking Holiday

This tour encompasses the whole of the Cotswolds as well as visiting some incredible iconic landmarks, walking right up to the front steps of spectacular and historic English locations, starting in Oxford and travelling to the World Heritage Sites of Churchill’s Blenheim Palace, Stonehenge and the spa town of Bath

Our 6-day, 5-night tour will lead you through honey coloured Cotswold villages and busy little market towns, over rolling hills and down country lanes. The Cotswolds is perfect walking country, taking the quietest roads, paths and bridleways you will feel transported back into England as it was before mechanisation, where sheep and dry-stone walling were the biggest industries.

Join one of our small group departures or travel privately. The routes are designed for all levels of walkers with longer and shorter hikes available each day and a unique way of literally walking into some of the most iconic places England has to offer – we call it “walk-in walking”. And with excellent accommodation, wonderful pubs and beautiful cuisine, Active England will give you an experience you won’t forget.
