This tour encompasses the whole of the Cotswolds as well as visiting some incredible iconic locations and World Heritage Sites you would not normally get to visit on a ‘normal’ self-guided cycling holiday. These include the Royal Windsor Castle, Churchill’s Blenheim Palace, Stonehenge – both World Heritage Sites, touring the famous university town of Oxford, and exploring the World Heritage Site of Bath with its Roman Baths and Regency splendour.
Return to nature, escape the crowds and immerse yourself in the history and heritage of the English countryside by cycling on your own, as a couple or bringing your group of friends with you for a week on two wheels.
We take all the hassle out of cycling by including all luggage transfers, booking and organising all accommodation, maps, Ride With GPS instructions, and recommending incredible iconic palaces, castles, estates, ancient sites and more to visit along the way.
We collect you at 8.30 from London at Paddington Station, Platform 1, under the clock and take you by bus Windsor, which is about 1 hours’ drive. Drivers in the Cotswolds are very polite and guests have always felt safe and secure when riding our routes, check out our Trip Advisor Reviews from guests who have cycled with us: “I was concerned about riding in traffic, but for the most part there were not that many cars. The people are very watchful and careful, they wait and allow cyclist to go ahead. The Cotswolds and very beautiful, rural and unspoiled. I loved the small towns and the beautiful countryside. I would absolutely do it again with Active England. Loved it all.” E.C.
