Coronavirus - COVID-19

At Active England we take the safety and health of our customers very seriously. We are monitoring the situation closely and are in regular contact with the UK and global authorities in relation to travel and travel advice. Should current or potential guests have any queries in relation to travel to England, please email us at hello@activeenglandtours.com. This email address is monitored closely, and all enquiries will receive a specific and personal reply within an 8 hour period. We strive to be flexible where we can, to listen carefully and act accordingly to the concerns of our guests.

While on tour with us we will be following the advice of the World Health Organisation to reduce any of our guests chances of being infected or spreading COVID-19, with our guides leading by example to take these simple steps:

1. Our guides will encourage regularly and thoroughly cleaning hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

• We encourage good health and hygiene standards during our tours. We will be providing hand sanitizer gel to each guide and guest at the beginning of each tour.

2. The World Health Organisation recommends staying at least 2 meters (6 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

• Guides will encourage good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately. We will always provide safe disposal of tissues during tours.

3. All guests and guides will be advised to avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth.

During our tours, we will keep up to date daily with local governmental travel advice.
