Our guides are the beating heart of Active England and so when we say our tour leaders can make all the difference to the enjoyment of our tours, we make sure to choose them VERY carefully! They are driven, engaging, knowledgable, dynamic, and know how to have A LOT of fun!
Alongside pointing out every cafe, pub, trail and track, pothole and best spots for a sunset, our guides love meeting new people and going out of their way to helping guests have the best experience possible!
With a host of different backgrounds, from cycling around the world to running their own retreat business, boat builders to bush craft experts, yoga teachers to illustrators and bird watching enthusiasts, our guides have a zest for life, exploration and enjoyment that makes our team exceptional.
We are looking for a real mixture of people with diverse interests – so if you’re a wild swimmer / hiker / cyclist / kayaker /yogi or even a forager then we’d love to hear from you.
Guides must be 25 or over, holders of a UK driving licence, and love people – pretty simple!
Safety and security (especially in these times) are of paramount importance, with all freelance guides receiving full training and relevant courses, including driving our vehicles. Tours average around 6 days, operating throughout the Cotswolds, Devon, Cornwall and throughout the wider South and North of England and are run as our own trips as well as through North American and UK Operators.
There may be further opportunities within our central team (in operations, commercial, product development and finance) which can be discussed.
If you’re keen, we would love to hear from you!
Please submit a short cover letter and CV to firstname.lastname@example.org – we will be in touch for a follow up call as the first interview.
