Make the most of your weekends away or your mid-week break out! Join us to walk, cycle, SUP, and kayak England’s famous rivers, or take an adventure weekend surfing, coasteering and wild swimming on Cornwall’s dramatic coast. Hop on a bike, tie up your laces for 3 or 4 days of biking or hiking through the Cotswolds, discover the tucked away trails, the hidden gems and incredible views on your active break in the countryside
Action packed days in the wilds glide into relaxed evenings in cosy country pubs, hand picked hotels, or sitting around the firepit, sharing stories with our “free beer and wine” fridge to keep the tales flowing.
Reconnect with nature, the outdoors, and each other on a short break in the countryside or along the coast. All our trips start from an easy direct train ride from central London, accessible from across the country, so you can see the best parts of the British countryside and coast without a car. Finish each day in a country pub, glamping pod or a cosy hotel with wonderful food and in great company.
The countryside was picture perfect with great little villages and sites to take in all along our... read more rides. Each day was so rewarding. The historic sites are so incredible to see and learn more about. The B&B's were perfect! The people so welcoming and friendly.
Loved our bike tour. We highly recommend taking the tour!
Thanks for the amazing memories folks.....Lisa and Jacques
The walk up to Sharrah Pool was a good hike (which we enjoyed), but anyone with slight mobility issues might have struggled. Otherwise - perfect!
If you love wild swimming, this is a brilliant short break. I'm even thinking about booking again for next year.
One of the best things we did was to modify the last day of our 6-day tour to include a light cycling day with walking tours of Lower Slaughter, Stow-in-the-Wold, Bampton and Cirencester. I really appreciated learning the history of each of the towns we visited as well as experiencing their unique beauty.
All our trips are open for single travellers to join, these trips are a great way to meet social, like-minded people, active and looking for a great holiday. “As a single female, I would not hesitate to go on another Active England trip as a solo traveller”. S.G. Over 30% of our guests travel alone and swimmers are always very accommodating and welcoming. Solo guests have the option to have a room on their own or share with another guest.
