The tour starts at London Paddington railway station where we pick-up all guests from the clock on Platform 1. We then jump on the bus and travel the one hour to Windsor where we step inside the world of King and Queens and take in everything Windsor has to offer. Packed with regal history at every turn; home to the Queen, the site of Henry VIII’s grave and monarchs since 1066, Windsor is a “must see”. We will also bike around Windsor Great Park for 10-15 miles to soak up the atmosphere and get you used to biking in England. Should we have time we will also bike the 10 / 20 miles into the night 1 accommodation at the Dundas Arms.
We bike along the wonderful canal route towards the beautifully named Honeystreet, along with the side of the canal and on the quiet roads in the surrounding areas. We have coffee alongside the canal at Crofton and lunch in the cafe at Honeystreet before setting off, by support vehicle to the World Heritage Site and monument at Stonehenge which is an undoubted highlight of the tour. We then stay overnight in Devizes. Routes from 25-35 miles.
With an early morning option to bike to Avebury (think Stonehenge but bigger!), we head off on the Kennet and Avon canal for a wonderful flat ride, alongside the boats, stopping at the pubs and soaking up the atmosphere as the landscape slowly passes by. We pass over the majestic Dundas and Avoncliff aqueducts before finishing the ride for the day at Bathhampton, where we jump in the support vehicle to the Hare and Hounds, nr Tetbury. With routes from 25-30 miles + the option to Avebury.
After a slightly later start we ride into the heart of the South Cotswolds and bike the 20 miles to the National Trust owned Lacock where we lunch and visit Lacock Abbey. We then head back to the hotel via Castle Combe, often voted the most beautiful village in England. Mileage, is from 15-40, depending on preference.
A beautiful flat ride through the South Cotswolds, via the Cotswolds Water Park, the beautiful trout stream and river side cafe at Bibury and then back via Tetbury, home to Prince Charles before heading back to the Hare and Hounds for dinner. Visits to the gardens at Highgrove can be arranged in advance and if time allows we can also visit the National Arboretum at Westonbirt. Mileage from 25-50.
Bath is a stunning 20-mile ride down an old roman road, right into the centre of this beautiful city. The Roman Baths, Jane Austen, the Georgian architecture including The Royal Crescent are unmissable. With an option to bike the Kennet and Avon Canal in the afternoon to Bradford on Avon through stunning countryside and the world famous aqueducts. The tour ends at approximately 5 pm where we will help guest with their ongoing travel arrangements. Mileage from 30-40 miles.

Further options are available for those who want to stay in a country cottage location or in a selection of hand-picked bed and breakfasts or pubs.
Bike as much or as little as you like, a support vehicle is with the guided tours at all times. All activities are optional and you can choose to have a ½ day or full day off whenever they like!

With a fleet of hybrid bikes from Giant and e-bike options, most of the biking is off road and safe from all traffic, perfect for those not used to biking on the road. Helmets as standard, just bring your shoes and pedals if you have them and away you go.
